What should I wear?
At Leitchfield United Methodist Church, we don’t have an official dress code - come as you are! You’ll find most people in slacks, polos, button-down shirts, dresses, or skirts, but you’ll also see jeans, shorts, and more casual attire.
What is the style of worship?
Our worship is heartfelt and rooted in tradition while welcoming new expressions. We combine inspiring music, thoughtful scripture readings, and meaningful prayer to create a space where everyone can connect with God in their own way. Whether you enjoy contemporary songs or classic hymns, you’ll find a warm and uplifting atmosphere here.
What activities are available for my children?
We warmly welcome children and families! While we’re still growing our children's programs, we offer a friendly, safe space where children can learn, play, and worship alongside their families. We offer an Elementary & Middle School age-appropriate Sunday School class (9:00 am CT) before our 10:00 am Worship (see location below). During worship, children are invited to use our age-appropriate kids’ packs or participate in the service. We’re always working on new ways to engage and support our youngest members, so stay tuned for upcoming events and programs designed just for them!
Are there educational activities for adults?
Yes! We have Sunday School classes for our adults on Sunday mornings at 9 AM (CT). Throughout the different seasons of the church year, the Pastor will also lead a bible study class. The days and times vary throughout the year. Updates on the bible study, date, and times will be located by clicking on Adults in the Growing menu above when those dates are made available.
Where are the Sunday School classes located?
● Elementary & Middle School: The ROCK (behind the church and Fellowship House) in the first classroom on the right.
● Adult (Common Ground): The ROCK Conference Room (first room on the left).
● Adult (Fellowship Class): Fellowship House (beside the church building on West Main Street).
How do I join the church?

Our pastor and church family are here to guide you through the process, whether by attending a membership class, meeting with our pastor, or simply making a commitment during worship. If you’re interested, please reach out. We’d love to support you as you become part of our community.
