LUMC operates under the One Board Council model, which incorporates the following committees into one meeting and leadershiop process.
Trustees
Our Trustees are responsible for overseeing and maintaining the church’s buildings, property, and other physical assets.
Staff Parish Relations Committee
Our Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) serves as a bridge for our congregation, pastor, and other church staff members. The SPRC dedicates themselves to providing support and addressing staff needs and assisting with congregational needs.
Finance Committee
Our Finance Committee is responsible for managing the church’s financial resources, including, but not limited to budgeting, stewardship, and financial reporting. The Finance Committee helps to guide the church on how we can best serve God’s Kingdom and our wider community.
Worship Committee
Our Worship Committee assists in the planning of Sunday morning worship services as well as special worship services.
Nurture/Outreach Committee
Our Nurture/Outreach Committee assists in the care of the church family, and reaches out to our neighbors.
Nominations Committee
Our Nominations Committee is responsible for identifying and developing leaders who are willing to serve in different leadership roles. The Nominations Committee is dedicated to nurturing and supporting spiritual leaders who serve the Kingdom of God, our church, and our community faithfully.
