Celebrate Recovery – For Life’s Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups

Who We Are:

Have you ever struggled with life’s challenges such as anger, depression, grief, abuse, or addictions? So have we!

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered, biblically based recovery ministry that points all participants to the redemptive and transformational power found in the Gospel. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. Twenty years ago Saddleback Church launched CR, and it is now in over 20,000 churches worldwide! Come home to CR where you can experience life change, God’s grace, and the healing power of the Gospel in a personal relationship with Jesus. Join us every Wednesday night at CR – a safe place where you’ll find help, hope, and healing.

Julie: Almost five years ago I was blessed to encounter a program called Celebrate Recovery. Little did I know at the time that CR would be the tool I would use to turn my complete mess into a message for his Glory.
Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step, biblically-based program that will help you overcome whatever hurt, habit, or hang-up is interrupting your peace and serenity if you want it to. Things don’t get fixed with magic; you have to have the desire to help them along.
I will gladly tell you that I am one of “those people”. Admitting that is what led to me addressing my hang-up and obtaining the peace I have today. I believe in this program with my whole heart and I want to share it with as many people as God will send through our doors. I still struggle with life on life’s terms, but even my worst day now is better than my best day was then!

Ellen: I have been married since 1989 to my husband Glenn and we have 2 daughters, Rachel and Anna. I gave my heart to Jesus at the age of 12 but it was years before I really understood what that meant. I am active in my church through VBS and a nursery worker. I know that Jesus has a plan for our daily lives and we must tune into HIM to know what that is.

Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Come and give Celebrate Recovery a chance. It will change your life!
